Mrs. Beth Haynes
I was born, not many years ago, here in Jackson County, AL. I grew up in the small Sand Mountain community known as Pleasant View and attended Pisgah School all twelve years. I earned my undergraduate degree in Family & Consumer Sciences from Jacksonville State University. My graduate degree was earned through The University of Alabama. I taught in the Scottsboro City School System for four years before accepting a teaching position at North Jackson High School. I taught Family & Consumer Science at NJHS for 18 years. I am currently in my second year as WBL/Cooperative Education Coordinator at the Earnest Pruett Center of Technology.
I am married to Doug Haynes, formerly of Blount County. Doug is employed at Woodville School, here in Jackson County, as assistant principal. We have two children, Slade (age 21) and Lake (age 14). My family and I are members of New Home Baptist Church in Pisgah, AL.
