• Pisgah's after school program is a service provided at some Jackson County Schools through the 21st Century Community Learning Center which provides multiple educational opportunities for students in grades kindergarten through the eighth grade.  Tutoring and a variety of educational experiences such as character education, safety education, music lessons, and arts and craft creations are provided through this program.  Our system's technology, robotics, drug and violence prevention, and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (S.T.E.M.) programs are incorporated into after school care time.  After school care typically starts shortly after the school year begins and may be available all five days of the school week or be limited to only particular school days.

Again, after school care is only available for students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade.  The service concludes at 5:30 p.m.  There is a registration fee and a weekly charge.  However, there are discounts available for families with multiple children enrolled in the program, and children who qualify for reduced rate lunches or free lunches will qualify for a reduced after school care rate or free admission into the program.  Fees include a nutritious snack while in after school care.

See PHS teachers Merry Benson or Marsha Goff to inquire about this program and seek an application for your student(s).
