Biography
Hello, My name is LaShonna C. Duncan. I began my career in Georgia where I taught fourth grade for 4 years. I started teaching kindergarten at Flat Rock School in 2004. It has been both a privilege and an honor to teach and serve in the community I was raised in and still call home. Teaching kindergarten has been a true calling. It is the most rewarding profession, and I love my job. My husband, Billy, and I were married in 2000 and have been blessed with two wonderful children. Our oldest, Hannah, is soon to be married and will begin her first teaching position in 2025. Cape, our youngest, is a multi-sport athlete. He is a junior at Pisgah High School.
