My name is Ashley Edwards and this is my 15th year to teach 1st grade and my 5th year at Woodville High School. I graduated from Woodville High School in 2003 and from Athens State University with a degree in elementary education in 2007. I have a masters degree in counseling from UWA.  I also became a National Board Certified Teacher in December 2021. I enjoy teaching first grade and I am excited for this school year!  I love getting to know my students and watching them grow as they learn new things. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, shopping, traveling, spoiling my cats Simon and Shadow, gardening, and playing basketball.
