Ms. Nichole Graham

I am Nichole Graham. I am a 1994 Graduate of Sylvania High School. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, TN in May, 2010. I then added an endorsement in Early Childhood Education from Tennessee Wesleyan University in June 2011. I received my Master's Degree from the University of West Alabama in May 2019. In July, 2021, I added an endorsement in English Language Arts (Secondary 6-12). I have 10 years of teaching experience: 1 year of 4th Grade, 1 year of 2nd Grade that included a JV softball coaching position, 6 years of PreK, and 1 year of 5th/6th Grade ELA and Science, and 1 year of 5th - 8th Grade English Language Arts. I will begin my 11th year of teaching by continuing to teach 5th-8th Grade English Language Arts and Reading. I am SUPER excited to be teaching my favorite subject here at Hollywood!

I am so very blessed with 2 amazing children who are the loves of my life and my greatest accomplishments. Clay is 20 and a 2020 graduate of Sylvania High School and Addie is 15 and is in the 10th grade at Fyffe High School. Most of my spare time during the school year is spent watching Addie cheer at Fyffe High School sporting events and competition events. She cheers on the FHS Varsity squad and competition squad. My hobbies include singing, church activities, camping, traveling, writing poetry, and spending as much time as possible with my family and friends.

I have always been a people person and love to talk, and planned to pursue a more musical path as a career. I attended Northeast Community College on a vocal scholarship. I moved to Nashville in 1998 to pursue my dream of singing. When that didn't go as planned, I became a travel nanny for a Southern Gospel group. It was only after having my son and becoming a stay-at home mom, that I discovered my love for teaching. I wanted my son to have the BEST teachers, like most parents do. I then decided to pursue a degree in education instead of a career in music. I teach the way I want my children to be taught and I want to be the teacher I would want my children to have. I believe that every child can learn. I also believe that although they learn differently, every child deserves to be given the very best opportunity to learn. I love teaching and I love coming to school every single day. I am so very thankful and blessed to be a Hollywood Hawk!!
