    Mr. Dustin Roden

        My name is Dustin Roden. I am married to Monica Monella Roden of Birmingham. I have two children, Brody and Allie. I have worked in Jackson County for seventeen years. I started as a Math teacher at North Jackson High School in 2005. While at North Jackson, I was an assistant football coach, 9th grade basketball coach, and head baseball coach. I started working at NSM in 2014. I taught math and robotics. I was an assistant football and head baseball coach from 2014-2016. In 2015, I was hired as the Assistant Principal at North Sand Mountain. In 2016, I was honored to be hired as the Principal at North Sand Mountain. 

     

        I graduated Pisgah High School in 2001 where I was a three sport student athlete. After high school, I attended Snead State Community College. I played baseball for two years for the Parsons. After finishing Snead State, I attended Jacksonville State University earning a B.S. in Secondary Math Education. In 2010, I earned a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama.
