Hi! My name is Colby Palmer and I teach high school history at North Sand Mountain High School. I graduated from Pisgah High School in 2013. I attended Northeast and then went on to receive my Bachelor's degree in Social Studies with a minor in education from Athens State University in 2019. I am an assistant coach on our Varsity and Junior Varsity basketball teams, head coach of the Freshmen and Jr. High basketball teams, and head cross country coach.

My wife and I live in the Rosalie area and just welcomed our first child, a babygirl, in August of 2021. When I am not coaching and teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and doing anything outdoors. I am very proud to be a part of the NSM family and look forward to creating a passion for history in every student that comes through my door. Roll Herd!
