I attended Dutton School in grades 1-8. From Dutton I moved on to Section High School for the required 4 years. I then went on to the Univerisity of Alabama in Huntsville for 3 years. I transferred to Athens State University where I completed my bachelor of science degree in elementary education. I also have my master's degree in elementary education which I earned from the University of Alabama. Experience: I began teaching at Paint Rock Valley High School where I taught 5th and 6th grades for 8 years. I have been at Dutton since 2003 teaching physical education.

Hello, my name is Shana Sartin. I have been married to Merle Sartin since 1992. We are the blessed parents of two wonderful boys, Avery and Jake.
I am the co-coach of the girls' and boys' 7th-8th grade basketball teams. I have a great time working with the girls and boys to develop their skills and learn teamwork.
In my free time I am an avid reader. Mystery and suspense are my favorite genre of books, but I also read other types of books depending on my mood.
