My name is Scott Colvin.  I live in Bridgeport, Alabama.  I am a member of the Bridgeport Church of Christ where I serve as a song leader.  I graduated from Lipscomb University in the spring of 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in Bible and psychology.  In 2006, I graduated from Northeast Alabama Community College with two Associates degrees (mathematics and business administration).  I received my teacher education credentials from Athens State University in 2012.  I graduated from the University of West Alabama in 2017 with a Master of Science in Biology Education.  

I am currently in my eighth year teacher at North Jackson High School in Stevenson, Alabama.  I teach human anatomy & physiology, physical science, biology and environmental science.  Prior to teaching, I was an environmental/quality lab technician for the United States Gypsum Company’s Bridgeport plant for eleven years.
