My name is Tyson Welden. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Kristina Welden. We reside in Jackson County with our two children, Lily and Hudson. 

I am a 2004 graduate of North Sand Mountain High School.  After receiving my Associate's of Science in Education at Northeast Alabama Community College, I transferred to Jacksonville State University where I received my Bachelor's of Science in Education, followed by my Master's of Science degree in History Education from the University of West Alabama. 

My time at North Jackson included teaching United States History I & II, World History, and Economics/Government.  I have coached middle school baseball and boys basketball.  I am also the school's technology coordinator and building test coordinator.
